Happy Cuts Chipboards !!!

June 12, 2018
Hello crafty friends,
I am back again with My Happy Packs !!!

Today I came up with an idea of how to decorate beautiful chipboard frames "Happy Cuts" from My Happy Packs ...These frame cuts are newly launched with Jolly Good Girl paper packs but you can buy only chipboard packs too !!! There are 8 different frame cuts and 8 letter cuts in one pack. Picture of its is given below.

It is a must buy product for any crafter as one can use it in any kind of projects  ,whether it is  Mix Media , Album or Scrapbook making , decoupage , art journal or any shabby/chic projects!!! These frames are so versatile that you can alter it in any form  whether its baby  projects or masculine or vintage/rusty or soft/delicate.

Here I will show you some examples that which way you can alter this fancy cut chipboards. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed while creating these beautiful small little frames.

1) Frame for a Baby Projects :

I choose a little frame which has small heart shape at top. As I found this  frame cute and perfect for any baby projects. I don't want to do much in this so through a stencil I just coloured it with dauber and Archival ink ( Vibrant  Fuchsia ). After that stick some baby embellishments on it  and decorate with flowers and pearls. That's it ...It's done !!!

Isn't it look super cute ??? You can use this frame in any scrap booking or baby album projects.

2) Frame for any Rusty / Vintage or Masculine Projects :

I choose this frame for my alteration. First through stencils I applied modeling paste on frame randomly. After that I stick some wooden and metal gears , nails etc on it to give a masculine look. Then I applied black gesso on entire frame and coloured it with Finnabair's Rust pastes and Patina Pastes. So it gives rusty/vintage look.

One can use this frame on any layout or mix media projects. It really gives depth and more interest to your project.

3) Frame for a Shabby chic Projects :

This frame is my favorite amongst other frames. So I specially used this for my Shabby chic project. Its little big in size. For this I also started with Modeling paste and stencil. Got beautiful design on frame to give more interest. After that I applied Finnabair's waxes on frame and got that little shine and shimmer which is perfect for my project. Then  I arranged Mudra's floral chipboards , Little birdie's flowers and some embellishments and die cuts on it to make more layers. At the end to finish my frame I used later cut "Sunshine" from the pack.

This gorgeous frame you can use in your layout or Shabby chic and soft pastel projects. But i personally loved this frame so much that I will keep this as it is...

4) Frame for an Art journal or Alter covers :

It is a smallest frame from a pack. I want to alter it through decoupage method. So I selected an old novel's yellowish page for this. I glued a paper on frame with Mod Podge by decoupage method. After it dried I applied Distress ink ( Vintage Photo ) and Archival ink ( Black ) on frame's edges !!! And Stamped some design with Black Archival ink. At the end I stick a small embellishment at one corner for more interest and it's done. So simple but looks so interesting.

I altered this frame by keeping in mind that I will use this on my any alter diary cover. You can use in your art journal or alter covers too.

5) Frame for a Beach Projects :

Beach projects are always favourites amongst mix media artists world wide. So I decide to alter this for my beach theme project. I arranged beautiful sea shells , flower , stones , sea weeds and little cute turtle on frame and glued them. After that I applied a layer of white gesso on entire frame. Then slowly highlighted the elements through Finnabair's  Metalic paints and Lindy's sprays. Vola its ready ... this looks so amazing. Love this.

It can use in any beach or sea related 3d projects , layouts or alter art.

6) Frame for Mix Media or Alter projects :

This frame is longest one from a pack so i try to alter it in other style. So firstly I tie a string on it and then arranged Resin and Metal embellishments on frame. I don't want to cover entire frame. So some part I left as it is. Then I applied a layer of clear gesoo on it. After that I coloured the frame with Finnabair's Metalic paints and when it dried , highlighted the details of embellishments through Waxes. Even I applied Crackle paste on border of frame to get the crackle effect. See the picture carefully you can get an idea of it.

I altered this frame through mix media technique.

7) Frame for a Soft and Shimmery Projects :

It's again a cute frame !!! I want to keep this simple , soft yet shimmery. So I arranged some girly embellishments and dew drops on it and glued it. After that I applied glossy accents on border and sprinkled golden glitter and white shimmer dust. And its done again...This frame looks so gorgeous that we don't have to do much to it.

You can use this for any girly soft and shimmer projects. In real it looks really very beautiful. I am in love with this.

Hope you guys enjoy my each and every little frames. These frames are amazing ...oh my god still I have so many other ideas for this frame. Try them , you are going to love these frame cuts !!!

Love,
