An Altered Jar

Hello friends ,

                        It's December and winter time in India. I just love Winter,  it is a best time of the year. When you can feel the bliss of warm quilts and cool breezes, winter bring a colour to your cheeks and  spread love around us ... 

                  I altered a Glass Jar with a beautiful decoupage tissue ,which has birds , flowers , butterflies prints on it...all beautiful elements of winter  and of course a quote 'Love is in the air'   !!!

                      When i will pick any decoupage tissue in my hands ,i always try to make it more interesting. Try to use all elements differently but still connecting. So, i teared all elements one by one with paint brush and water and glued it at different places with the help of mod podge. After that , i merged all the elements to each other with acyrlic colours. And stamped some butterfly and  love stamps here and there with Archival Black Ink. Lastly , i just tied black rope around the jar's top portion and hanged cute metal charm. And its ready, a new beautiful altered Jar.
